How did you get into the event industry?

I started out in theatre and then moved into film and advertising – so I’ve always been making meaningful and engaging experiences in some shape or form. The new role at Freeman XP is a natural progression for me.

Favourite thing about events?

The people. Walking a mile in another person’s shoes is the key to unlocking how we can make improvements to an experience and add value to both audience and clients.

What do you think you can bring to the new role?

Enthusiasm, rigour, empathy and good questions.

What have you done in the first month in the job?

Found my feet!

What’s on your desk?

Post-It Notes

Coffee

Sharpies in all the colours of the rainbow

2 x iPhones

Wired magazine

Aesop hand sanitizer

Macbook

An exciting design-thinking project and a daunting RFP.

How do you intend to face the challenges in the industry?

By first understanding the challenges better.

Biggest frustration?

There is never enough time!

Best piece of advice?

Breathe.

Who is the individual you most admire?

My mother and father.

The last film you watched?

Moonlight.

At EN HQ, we take our coffee very seriously - how do you take your coffee?

Flat white.
