Conference Sales Executive

This exhibition company is growing rapidly, having made a number of recent acquisitions, and with many global launches in the pipeline. As such, it is a very dynamic and exciting team to join, with some exciting opportunities for driven, energetic and passionate individuals.

For their office in Twickenham, we are looking for a Conference Sales Executive directly reporting to the Event Director.

The main focus of this role is to win business on the StocExpo & Tank Storage portfolio of conferences in Dubai, Antwerp, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Shanghai & Singapore.

Experience in B2B telesales is essential; however a winning personality is equally as important.

The role would begin as a temporary position, however with proven success of hitting KPIs and achieving sales targets there would be a full-time job possibility at the end of the contract.


Skills, experience and attributes required are:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ successful outbound B2B telesales experience; experience of delegate sales is a plus
  • Determination, tenacity, resilience and assertiveness
  • High standards of communication
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good track record of sales success
  • Ability to hit deadlines and work under pressure
  • Competence in Microsoft Office products


Responsibilities will also include:

  • Achieving desired KPIs (calls, interactions) to exceed sales targets
  • Upselling delegate packages
  • Building sustainable relationships with delegates to improve market knowledge and retention ratio
  • Building & enriching data according to the market demographic, phone conversations and research
  • Working with marketing to create critical sales path and desired promotional activity
