International Marketing project Leader

Subsequent to recent acquisition ,this role is working for a Global Exhibition Company based out of their Head Office, but would require a fair deal of International Travel.

The role would be focussing primarily on a new event being launched in Spring 2018 in US.

This is working on their premium product within the International Commercial Packaging Portfolio.

You would be required to create from scratch a full cycle marketing strategy and plan for this event, and then oversee the implementation of this via your team. You will be required to seek out and negotiate new media and educational partners and you will take the lead. The role will be process driven and very much deadline focussed working on the full marketing cycle.

Responsibilities:

  1. Development of marketing concepts for event cluster: targets, strategies and marketing mix (channels) including features
  2. Coordinates & ensures the 360° comms plan implementation, monitors KPI’s and drafts reports for line management, controls marketing budget
  3. In charge of the promotion of marketing objectives and developing industry knowledge: the planning, controlling and realization of all marketing activities and (if applicable) make sure the whole marketing team gets there: mentor, train, coach, coordinates work of Cluster Marketing Coordinator
  4. In charge of the data development, all statistical analysis, conferences management, registration, learnShops, side events, ...and of the branding of the shows

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 y experience in the events industry, project management - strong sales acumen
  • Knowledge in MICE industry is a must!
