MCM Expo, organiser of the MCM Comic Cons has announced the launch of GamerMania, a brand new event to take the gaming world by storm.

MCM Expo, organiser of the MCM Comic Cons has announced the launch of GamerMania, a brand new event to take the gaming world by storm.

 

From 29 to 31 July 2016, ExCeL London will host the event for the UK gaming market to reach out to worldwide gamers.

 

Positioned after E3 and SDCC and ahead of Gamescom, upcoming titles, brands and technologies will be showcased.

 

Jeremy Rees, executive director at ExCeL said: “The UK ranks as one of the top ten video games markets in the world with London a capital of gaming in Europe. GamerMania will fly the flag for the UK in the worldwide gaming industry and the capital’s largest exhibition venue that includes the Mayor’s International Convention Centre, ExCel London are excited to be a part of it.

 

“ExCel London already hosts over four million visitors a year and with fabulous accessibility and a recent £15m investment into the boulevard, this world class venue is set to host another award-winning and global industry-leading event.”

 

GamerMania will be teaming up with eSports company, ESL, bringing world-class eSports entertainment to London, and will offer innovative content including big gaming studios, eSport, LAN, PC Gaming, Indie Games, Retro, YouTube and streaming.

 

In addition, GamerMania’s Indie Play Zone will give indie creators the opportunity to showcase their completed or in-development titles.
