YouTube-focused consumer show Summer in the City, which is organised by MCM Central, has announced three new stages for its 2017 edition: gaming, fashion & beauty and lifestyle.
The event, which takes place on 4-6 August at ExCeL London, brings together anyone with an interest in online video, whether they are creators, viewers or industry professionals looking to gain insight into the industry.
The new gaming stage will see the festival ramp up its video game content, with leading YouTube gamers battling it out in live tournaments, taking questions from fans and participating in live panels.
The fashion & beauty stage will feature YouTube beauty gurus including Roxxsaurus, Leyla Rose, Saffron Barker, Helen Anderson, Lucy and Lydia, Chanel Ambrose and Lewys Ball.
The lifestyle zone will bring together the topics of cooking & baking, health & fitness, sport and art into a single area, featuring online stars such as SORTEDfood, The Lean Machines, Scola Dondo, Barry Lewis, BananaJamana, Gabriel Sey, Rapha Blueberry and Daniel J. Layton – with more set to be announced in the near future.
