Logistics specialist DB Schenker has signed an annual strategic partnership agreement with the Association of Events Organisers (AEO) for 2017.

Chris Skeith, chief executive of the AEO, commented: “Our members are many and varied and need service providers who are able to adapt their operations to suit the event organiser not the other way around. DB Schenker has a first class record in being able to work with our members and make the logistics surrounding an event look easy, which is by no means the case.

“We’re delighted DB Schenker is partnering AEO again in 2017. Having strong partners means we can concentrate on delivering value back to our members in terms of supporting the growth and development of their business, their people and the industry.”

Daniel Bird, general manager, DB Schenker, added: “With the AEO community’s outstanding level of collaboration and the association’s well-known and excellent standing within the industry, DB Schenker are very proud to be a part of this community and a part of this strong association once again.

“We at DB Schenker feel we align well with the association’s strength and goals moving forward, with extensive experience and knowledge not just in the UK but worldwide, which enables organisers to take full advantage of our global reach and support to members of the AEO community.

“With our innovative and forward-thinking approach to the events industry we hope organisers and their clients will continue to reap the benefits.”
