The Bradford Excel Small Animal Show is to be renamed and revamped for its 89th edition in 2011.The show will now be called the Burgess Premier Small Animal Show, following main show sponsor Burgess Pet Care (BPC) strengthening its partnership with the event organisers, with a five-year, six-figure support deal. “We are a company committed to encouraging responsible pet ownership,” said MD of BPC, Paul Miley. “The show is a festival for people who are passionate about animals and we are looking forward to attracting even more visitors, competitors and exhibitors to next year’s event.” BPC promises its investment will bring a new website, new marketing literature and more attractions and events to the two-day event.“The show’s appeal continues to grow, attracting small animal breeders, fanciers and families from across the UK. We hope to attract around 5,000 visitors in 2011,” added show director, Michael Fox.
