Call cost-cutting scheme

Excel London’s joint venture company, Excel London Invision, is working in partnership with mobile communications specialist Cellhire to lower the cost of mobile calls and mobile data for overseas delegates who attend UK conferences and exhibitions. Mobile phone calls back to a home country can be expensive and the initiative claims savings could be as much as 70 per cent, according to Invision commercial director David O’Beirne.“This is a simple but very useful service,” he says. “It saves delegates money and the savings when added across a whole event can be sizeable. This is a great value adding service that organisers can offer their clients and it doesn’t cost them a penny.”Delegates can get free handsets and Sim cards and pay just the BT local call rate.
