The Eurogamer Expo will increase from three to four days in 2011 in a bid to accommodate more than 30,000 visitors. The fourth edition of the gaming exhibition is scheduled at Earls Court on 22-25 September 2011. Show director, Rupert Loman, said running across four days instead of three, as well as its decision to take up more hall space, should attract an additional 10,000 visitors. “This year’s show sold out in advance, so we are increasing the capacity next year by adding another day as well as taking more space within Earls Court,” he told EN. “We expect over 30,000 attendees for the 2011 show and have already signed several key exhibitors.” Loman also flagged its move from The Royal Armouries in Leeds to Earls Court this year as a winner with visitors. “The move to Earls Court was a complete success and gives us the foundation to grow further. The plans for next year’s show are more ambitious than ever and we can’t wait to start sharing them with everyone,” he added. The 2010 Eurogamer event saw a record attendance of 20,000 visitors.
