Exeter to showcase South West's tourism

Exhibition organiser Resort Marketing is to put on Visit 2010, a new showcase event for South West tourism.The show is to feature visitor destinations and attractions, activity providers, event organisers, group accommodation providers, coach companies and tourism trade groups, and takes place at Exeter's Westpoint Arena on 23 January. The show is an extension of Resort’s magazine titles and claims to be the first exhibition of its kind for some years dedicated to tourism in the South West. “It’s a chance for everyone involved in this region's tourism industry to showcase their businesses to a broad range of visitors including; group visit organisers, teachers, the travel trade and journalists,” says Resort Marketing’s MD Brian Cooper.The National Marine Aquarium, Royal Signals Museum, Weymouth Sea Life Park, Trevarno Estate and Gardens and Splashdown are some of the companies that have committed to the event.There will also be seminars during Visit 2010 including one focused on the UK's current trend for domestic holidays, titled: ‘The Staycation Capitalised’.
