Extension on the books for Brand Licensing Europe

Advanstar is considering extending its Brand Licensing Europe exhibition to three days pending feedback from its exhibitors and visitors. Last year’s show in October had an attendance of almost 5,000 visitors over the two days, and a 30 per cent increase in European attendance.“Since the show, there has been a significant demand from both the brand owners that exhibit and the retailers and manufacturers that visit to extend the show by another day,” says event director, Jessica Blue. “The show was extremely busy, with 1,000 people through the doors of Olympia in the first 40 minutes of them opening. “Many exhibitors have told me that they don't have enough time to see all the people that want to see them, however, we need to be sure that whatever decision we take is the right one for the industry, hence the poll of all visitors and exhibitors,” she adds.Advanstar will take the results of the research into account before making any final decision.
