Fertility Show is born

Jonathan Scott opens the UK’s first Fertility Show at London’s Olympia this week. The former managing director of Value Added Events, which he sold to Upper Street Events in 2008, formed Intuitive Events in June this year as a vehicle to launch the show. The consumer event will feature more than 40 leading fertility experts who are speaking at the show for free as well as 80 exhibitors from legal firms, overseas sperm banks and private clinics. There’s also a fully licensed clinic where men check their fertility. The show is running in conjunction with the patient care charity, Infertility Network UK, and Scott says he hopes the event will address the UK’s fertility epidemic. “I hope that in two to three years’ time the show will help bring the subject out of the closet and encourage more open debate.” The Fertility Show runs from 6-7 November at London Olympia.
