Fire industry tradeshow Firex North will continue next month in Manchester despite the postponement of co-located exhibition Business North West.Business North West has been postponed after organiser Nationwide Media Group went into liquidation last month. The show along with several other events managed by Nationwide, were acquired by organiser Easyfairs. Business North West has since been postponed to 4-5 May 2011. Firex North is a vertical market tradeshow aimed at a clearly defined audience of installers, specifiers and consultants, Firex event director Gerry Dunphy said. It will be held at Manchester Central from 27-28 October 2011. “It is primarily booked into Manchester Central 1 to capitalise on the greater density of the active fire alarm trade in the Greater Manchester area and beyond,” Dunphy said. “The fact that Business North West was taking place at the same time was convenient but not critical to the success of the show.”This year’s show is the second instalment of UBM Live’s Firex Roadshows.
