TGI Golf has teamed up with the Professional Golfers’ Association to expand its golf trade show. The company has signed a five-year deal with Harrogate International Centre (HIC), where the trade show event is held annually, and expects to utilise the HIC’s two new exhibition halls in 2011 giving them an additional 3,400 sq m of exhibition space. TGI managing director, Eddie Reid, said: “We see this show as a huge opportunity for both suppliers and Professional Golfers Association members. The PGA has recognised the success of the TGI Golf Show and the potential to develop this event as a platform for a larger, pan-industry trade exhibition and educational event over the long term.” He says PGA will cater for the professional golfer’s educational needs, while TGI will continue to provide an exhibition for PGA members and partner suppliers. The new event in 2010 will run 26 -28 October.
