The Golf Show Group has promoted two staff members in the lead-up to its first National Golf Show at The NEC in April. Damian Benstead (pictured) has been promoted to MD, resulting in Dean Vickerman’s elevation to sales director. The pair boast over 20 years’ experience in the golf industry. “With the first National Golf Show on the horizon it is integral we have the right structure and team in place to launch the event and ensure it is a huge success for all concerned,” Benstead said. The new National Golf Show replaces the NEC Golf Show and will take place from April 15-17. According to the organiser, the Midlands was a better location than London for a national event. The London Golf Show has been rescheduled to November. Among the main features will be the chance to swing a club, access free tuition from fully-qualified coaches and win prizes on a variety of interactive games.
