Lighting exhibition The ARC Show has announced a new interactive feature for 2011, which involves an evening walk around the streets of North London. The programme, named London NightSeeing, is formed of two parts. LightWalk is an after-dark walk for delegates with urban lighting artist Leni Schwendinger, who will discuss and dissect lighting, shadow and reflective aspects of the town.“The walk will be a treasure hunt, a way of recognising both existing light and designed light,” says Schwendinger. “The streets and closes of Angel Islington are an ideal location for bright and shadowy discoveries.”The other part of the programme is LightTalk, a seminar designed to provide a basic understanding of the systems that light up London. The ARC Show takes place on 12 to 13 January 2011 at the Business Design Centre, London.
