Motorsport event celebrates anniversary at Birmingham NEC

Autosport International has celebrated its 20th anniversary at the NEC in Birmingham. NEC Group chief executive, Paul Thandi, says: “Autosport International was one of the first hybrid trade and consumer exhibitions models to take place.”Haymarket Exhibitions MD Gavin Brown says: “Since we first launched Autosport International at The NEC in 1990, we have seen the show go from strength to strength, with a healthy increase in visitor figures this year."The show, Europe’s largest motor sport exhibition, ran from 14 to 17 January. Visitors were able to watch live racing on indoor race track, the Live Action Arena.Present at the show was F1 world champion Jenson Button, as well as his championship Braun F1 car.
