M&S signs up to BBC Good Food Show Birmingham

Supermarket chain Marks and Spencer will exhibit at November’s BBC Good Food Show Birmingham for the first time since 2004. The company is returning for this year’s event to promote its Christmas range, along with its sustainability strategy, Plan A, in an interactive show feature.Supermarket competitor Sainsbury’s has also confirmed it will sponsor the exhibition’s main theatres and exhibit at both the 2010 and 2011 shows, held at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham.“We believe that the BBC Good Food Shows provide us with an opportunity to engage with and inspire both new and existing customers in a relaxed and relevant environment,” says external event and sampling manager at Sainsbury’s, Samuel Egginton. This year’s BBC Good Food shows are the BBC Summer Good Food Show (June 16–20), the BBC Good Food Show Scotland (Oct 22–24), MasterChef Live (Nov 12–14) and BBC Good Food Show Birmingham (Nov 24–28).
