New marketing management for Emap Education portfolio

Exhibition organiser Emap has appointed Mark Ram as senior marketing manager for its Education portfolio. Hailing from Emap’s Recycling and Waste Management Exhibition, Ram will now take the marketing responsibility for educational technology event BETT, the Education Show and the Scottish Learning Festival, along with any future launches in the division. “Mark joined Emap in September 2008 as marketing manager for RWM and, during his time there, he delivered a campaign which resulted in visitor numbers increasing by eight per cent,” says head of marketing for Emap Connect, Samantha Matthews. Prior to joining Emap, Ram was the senior marketing manager at United Business Media, overseeing both Internet World and Service Management Expo.
