Professional Beauty returns to London Olympia in 2011

London’s Olympia has received another feather in its cap with the return of the Emap trade exhibition Professional Beauty for 2011 after six years at London’s Excel. Exhibitionnews.co.uk reported previously that the British Toy and Hobby Association’s Toy Fair also took the decision to return to the Olympia site after a nine-year stint at Excel. Talking about the 2010 Professional Beauty at Excel London in March, event director Alison Graham says that it has been a challenging year for the industry and the show will attempt to help “stabilise the market” with its unique transactional element. “Our Manchester show was the highest attended beauty show in the UK with over 16,800 visitors in 2009 and we expect the London show to be highly attended, as most of brands see London as home,” she adds.  Professional Beauty, which is set to take place on 7 to 8 March 2010, first launched at Olympia in 1983 and remained at the venue until 2004.“This is a true indication that West really is best,” says commercial director, EC&O Venues, Anna Golden.
