Stamford Bridge unveils new 'Mindful Meetings' experience

London’s Stamford Bridge, the home of Chelsea Football Club, will be inviting delegates and visitors to the venue next year for the launch of its new ‘Mindful Meetings’ experience. Inspired by recent research into the benefits of mindfulness and meditation in and outside of the workplace, the experience has been developed with Chelsea Football Club’s meditation and yoga expert Vinay Menon (pictured), to become more aware of the present moment whilst supporting longer-term business objectives. Simon Hunter, head of Venue and Brand at Stamford Bridge said: “We are really excited to be working with Vinay to bring a new mindfulness experience for delegates that’s so front of mind right now. “With the increased use of technology allowing us all to operate a 24/7 workplace, it’s harder and harder for delegates to switch off; this unique experience allows delegates time to completely relax, inviting a clearer mind and focused group during the meeting and afterwards.” According to the venue, the session has been created specifically for those that sit regularly in meetings or at their desks, incorporating calming meditation techniques to counteract stress and muscle tightness along with a series of useful rhythmic stretches, breathing exercises and sound meditation to “reconnect mind and body”.
