Talent Expo to partner with Summer Live

Talent Expo is in talks to partner with Summer Live music festival after postponing its debut London event for the second time.  Talent Expo’s launch edition was meant to take place from 24 to 27 June 2010 at Excel London but was postponed until autumn 2010, just weeks before its launch. At the time, organiser Robert Fenton attributed his decision to overwhelming exhibitor response and last-minute demand for a trade area. However, he told EN the Talent Expo had now partnered with Summer Live and was due to run on undetermined dates in 2011. Summer Live festival creator, David Clark said the festival, which in its second year, may consider changing its name to accompany Talent Expo if it doesn’t end up running in the summer. Summer Live ran for the first time on 28 August this year at Sandown Park in Surrey.“We are still waiting to hear back from Excel in London,” Clark said, “but the idea is for Summer Live and Talent Expo to team up and put on an event for the next year.”A spokesman for Excel said there is no calendar mention of the Talent Expo event.
