Toast Festival, a cultural exhibition and festival including food and music from New Zealand, South Africa and Australia, has been postponed less than one month before it was due to open. The event, organised by Go Ahead Events, was due to take place on Clapham Common from 24 to 26 September 2010.A spokesman for the organiser said that despite the success of theToast 10th Anniversary Festival at Ham Polo Club which sold out earlier this year, the Clapham event has been postponed to June 2011 due to disappointing ticket sales. The next Toast event will take place on its usual date on 10 - 12 of June.“Stand and sponsorship bookings are being transferred to the new date or refunded in full,” Go Ahead’s Lou Murie confirmed to EN. “Visitors have the option to transfer their ticket or receive a full refund by contacting the agency where they made their purchase.“We look forward to presenting an exciting Toast Festival again with some of the best South African, New Zealand and Australian bands, international polo, wines, food and entertainment.”
