UBM Live will co-locate the E Commerce Expo with its repositioned Call Centre and Customer Management Expo at London Olympia from 2011.UBM acquired the annual E Commerce Expo, along with its sister Manchester show, from IMP Events in March. The third-annual event ran as planned at London Olympia from 19-20 October, but will be fully managed by UBM from December. Attendance at the 2010 exhibition increased 22 per cent to 4,915 visitors, according to unaudited reports. A company spokesperson told EN numbers were buoyed by its decision to market to its wider marketing and ecommerce database. Rising interest in the ecommerce sector was also improving footfall.“The UK is leading the world in ecommerce and the show certainly showcased this by bringing together the industries best and brightest,” new group event manager, Andy Kiwanuka, said. “The visitor numbers and buzz on the show floor really reflect the importance of ecommerce to business and the UK economy. “The world will be looking at the UK’s ecommerce industry for the latest trends, innovation and technology and E Commerce Expo has certainly exposed the excitement about its future.” The spokesperson said next year’s co-located exhibitions would take advantage of the fact that there was significant cross-over between audiences for ecommerce solutions and call centre and customer management tools.  UBM announced plans to relocate the Call Centre and Customer Management Expo from Birmingham to London in October. The two exhibitions will take place from 11-12 October 2011.E Commerce Expo Manchester will also co-locate with the first Technology For Marketing and Advertising (TFM&A) Manchester exhibition at Old Trafford football ground on 26 May 2011.
