The UK national tourism agency, VisitBritain, has appointed Paul Eastham as head of global corporate communications. VisitBritain’s director of strategy and communications, Patricia Yates, says Eastham will be working with the tourism industry and the media to raise awareness of the economic strength of tourism. A former deputy political editor of The Daily Mail, Eastham was previously head of media and PR at The Children’s Society and head of news at Ofsted.
