The Wearable Technology Show has surpassed 5,000 visitors for the first time in the event’s history.

The show welcomed 5,035 visitors to ExCeL London on 7-8 March along with 109 exhibitors from more than 20 countries.

With an emphasis on education and inspiration, the show had 234 speakers hosting more than 100 sessions as part of its conference programme, while on the show floor more than 50 new products were launched.

“Anyone who said wearables and smart technology were a flash in the pan couldn’t be more wrong – to grow to over 5,000 visitors from a standing start and in a brand new market in just four years is testament to that and an achievement we’re all very proud of,” said John Weir, event director and COO of organiser Evolve Media Group.

The Wearable Technology Show will return to ExCeL London on 13-14 March 2018.
