Mash Media has launched an industry-wide initiative to recognise the events industry’s campaigns and activities that give back to communities, charities and businesses.
Called the Industry Initiative (I.I), the campaign includes a flag logo that can be used as a kite mark of recognition for worthy activities.
The event organiser and publisher hope the I.I will encourage collaboration on industry campaigns and underline the full scale of outstanding initiatives that take place throughout the year.
“It is our ambition that the symbol of the I.I flag will be seen as a rallying tool for those who are doing something for the benefit of the industry,” said Jamie Wallis, creative director of Mash Media.
“We hope the I.I flag will encourage cooperation between all corporations, big and small, to join in on industry initiatives and drive them forward.”
Wallis added that as long as the event or initiative serves to better the industry (i.e its purpose is education, mentoring, awareness, charity etc) and is a cooperative, Mash Media will issue the I.I kite mark and back the cause.
